On the evening of 19 June, the city of Berat hosted the theatrical performance "Under This Sign", dedicated to the life and legacy of Constantine the Great and performed by young actors from Berat.
Inspired by the "Heritage Is Our Brand" project, the three-act play captivated the audience, bringing the story of the emperor to life beside the Bust of Constantine within the grounds of Berat Castle.
The performance draws inspiration from the story of the Edict of 321, through which Constantine the Great declared Sunday a day of rest, dedicating it to God, family, and peace. The full story is available here: "Sunday as a Day of Rest – Constantine the Great's Gift" on Albania Heritage.
The production was funded by the European Union Delegation to Albania and implemented by DMO Albania and EU Policy Hub. It was produced by RDA Berat (Regional Development Agency Berat) as part of the "Heritage Is Our Brand" project.
