School Competition

Why is this phase of the project important?

After the project distributes all source materials—both the stories and the creative products—to teachers of history, literature, and even music, a national competition for students in primary (grades 1–9) and secondary schools will be launched in mid-2026. Students will be invited to submit artistic creations inspired by these stories: theater performances, dances, shows, essays, drawings, and more.

At the end, the project will award several prizes to the winners across the country.

The project “Heritage is Our Brand” cannot be considered complete without sharing all this newly created source material with the younger generation.

Children will be encouraged—based on the legends, ancient histories, and the many rituals such as weddings, dances, etc., and by talking to their parents or grandparents—to create performances, artistic products, or even exhibitions related to their own region. This will help them feel proud and motivate them to preserve these values of intangible cultural heritage.
