Artist Ivo Moja brought into modern times the stories of ancient Dyrrachium and a long-\nstanding tradition that has survived to this day\u2014the production of wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/figure>\n\n\n\nThe story of Balisca wine recounts the memories of a Roman soldier, Titius, who falls in love\nwith an Illyrian girl named Diona during his stay in Dyrrachium. Years later, at a celebration near\nRome, the taste of the Illyrian Balisca wine revives his longing, love, and memories of the\nIllyrian land\u2014its vineyards, festivities, and the life he once shared there. It is a story that\nbecomes a bridge between memory, love, and our cultural heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The presentation ceremony was attended by civil society activists, local citizens, school\nstudents, as well as Denisa Luarasi, Chairwoman of the Durr\u00ebs Municipal Council, and Floreta\nK\u00ebrtusha, Head of the European Integration Sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mosaic \u201cBalisca \u2013 The Memory that Awakens the Land\u201d is dedicated to Illyrian wine, highly\nprized in ancient times, and brings its legacy into the present through the love story of Diona of\nDyrrachium and the Roman soldier Titius, as well as the memories evoked in him by the\nsweetness of Balisca wine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project \u201cHeritage is Our Brand \/ Trash\u00ebgimia na dallon\u201d is funded by the European Union\nand aims to make cultural heritage more tangible and accessible to younger generations\nthrough storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
