Fatmir JUKA is part of the new generation of contemporary Albanian artists. After completing his higher education studies in History in Shkod\u00ebr and Painting in Tirana, he revealed another dimension of his artistic expertise through his work as a curator of several exhibitions featuring various artists in Albania and Kosovo. He has also worked as a co-curator and conceptual designer of museum interiors, as well as a co-founder of various magazines dedicated to history and art.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The installation is conceived as a three-dimensional element that reproduces the form of the Xhubleta, yet without the female body inside it\u2014a symbol of absence that speaks of presence and continuity. The structure is constructed from thick, darkened, and perforated metal sheets, combined with plastic elements representing amulets, belts, decorative bands, and other traditional motifs. These semantic signs are derived from and studied based on authentic Xhubleta models exhibited in museums across northern Albania. Inside the body of the sculpture, LED lighting material is installed, which, through light, completes the sensation of the absent body by filling it with \u201clife energy.\u201d The light emerging through the openings of the decorative motifs makes the work visible from a distance at night, while the volume projects vertical illumination toward the sky. The color and the monumental, forward-moving posture of the figure enhance the dynamism of the viewer\u2019s experience.<\/p>

The lighting system will be connected to sensors that detect the transition from day to night, creating a subtle transformation of light that conveys the fluidity of time, the magic of the symbols, and the viewer\u2019s curiosity in discovering their meaning.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
