About Artist
Xhesika Berisha is a graphic designer with more than 12 years of professional experience in visual design, branding, and strategic communication. She is the founder of the creative studio “Rischa Design Studio”an independent design practice collaborating with clients in Albania, Italy, and beyond.
Her work focuses on the development of visual identities, brand strategies, packaging design, as well as creative direction for visual communication across various business sectors. In addition to her professional practice, she is also a part-time lecturer at Polis University in Tirana, where she contributes to the development of the next generation of Albanian designers.
The combination of practical experience, creative capacity, and commitment to quality enables her to provide a comprehensive and reliable approach to every design project.
ARCHIVE OF THE WORD – VOICES OF ALBANIAN MYTHOLOGY
Abstract
With the aim of enabling younger generations to become familiar with and appreciate the spiritual culture of their nation, particularly Albanian myths and legends, ten selected narratives will be reintroduced through an original and engaging format adapted for children and young people.
These stories will be presented while preserving not only their subject matter but also the traditional narrative style, the archaic tone, the fusion of fantastical and real elements, and the phenomenon of animism in nature that connects human beings to their essence and authentic roots.
These adaptations for children and young audiences will be accompanied by a large number of illustrations designed to stimulate imagination and create lasting visual impressions. The project establishes a space in which myths and legends transmitted across generations are brought to life through the interplay of word and image.
